How to make "Floating A" for the grill

How to make "Floating A" for the grill

i dont want to do anything drastic. but how do i black out the silver bars connected to the A symbol.

i like the oem grill but not the silver on the interior

whats my best bet........

Yeah man give the search feature a shot. I was looking into this and came across some pretty nice DIY for different Grill options. Anywhere from Painting it, covering it in Vinyl, as well as re-modifying it Completely.

Search "PlastiDip" and think about it. DatDereTL just posted uses on the rear. Better match than vinyl for as it is flat/semi and you can peel it off. I haven't done it, but I'm leaning in that direction myself.

I just used plastidip on my grill (where the gray part is) to freshen up the look a bit. This stuff is great. But be careful after wards washing it. If you rub the edges of the dip too hard, it will start to peel. If I were you, I'd give it a shot. Only took me 15 minutes to do my front grill.

Just showing off the black part I plastidiped in 5 minutes. It's the same as OEM but a deep black rather than a gray with sun swirls on it. Wish I had a before pic...

what plasti dip did u use.....brand/store

how did u paint it.......masking tape or took everything off
