Regular bulbs and LEDs

Good morning. I have tried searching and could not find answers to two questions.

1. Regular interior bulbs. I am not talking about dome, etc., but the dash bulbs and the like. I have read all of the LED threads and wish I had those kinds of skills, but soldering is not something within my skill set. Taking things apart and replacing bulbs I can do. I looked up the various parts on a wholesale parts website and see that there are little stock bulbs I can replace in the heated seat switch, dash buttons, etc. However, I have not seen a thread where this was done, just swaps to LEDs. Can this be done? They just look like little UFO shaped bulbs. I guess the question is whether they are really just plug and play. If so, I'll just do that.

2. Interior LEDs. Now I am talking about the dome lights, etc. I have read many of the LED interior threads and felt good about making the easy swap. However, I read on another Acura website that if you put LEDs in a place where the light will dim-to-off rather than just turn off, it can cause your electrical system to go haywire. As such, I am back to square one without really knowing if I can do plug and play interior lights. Any explanation would help.

Thanks in advance for the assitance.

Anyone? I'd like a little guidance before spending money. Thanks.
