Depending on where it's parked, you may do better without a cover (re: lots of direct sunlight, trees overhead, etc...). I left two cars out for a few weeks, one covered and one with just a windshield cover for the dash and the car underneath the full cover ended up much "dirtier" than the car that wasn't covered thanks to the moisture creeping up. There are different levels of covers, but I've had a bit of moisture get through even the more expensive ones...and once it's there ... it's there.
