Take out the grill piece (there's like 6 screws holding the grill piece in from behind the bumper).

Then once the grill piece comes out, so will the emblem and you can unscrew the emblem from the back of the grill piece.

Front or back?
IMO do both otherwise it doesn't flow.
I would take it to a shop that uses high end paint, and can prep it correctly.
If you use spray paint, expect the front to chip over time. A good spray paint is Krylon Fusion or the Plasti-Dip.

If you search, there is probably more in depth removal instructions.

Yeah i want to do both, but how do you take off the middle back emblem? Ive already took off the ACURA and the TL with fishing line and a heat gun but the middle one looks a little more difficult lol.

The rear has double sided tape, and 2 pins.
The two plastic pins connect to plastic retainers on the trunk. The trunk has two holes in the outer skin for the rear emblem pin retainers.

It removes by prying it out with a little force and finesse. To make it easy, use a heat gun to loosen the double sided tape. Or, fishing line can be used to cut through the tape. New tape should be re-applied, especially if the old tape gets torn in any way.

Plastic pry tools work great to ensure the outer panel does not get scratched or gouged.

Should i do it like that^^^ or pull it off? When you pull it off does it come off of that fat part on the back of the crome emblem or does that whole fat part come out?

I just took mine off tonight. will be plasti-dipping my grille tomorrow.

Once the bumper is off there are like 7-9 screws and the grille assembly comes to pieces then there are 2 more screws and the A and border come out.
It is pretty straight forward once bumper is off.

Im thinking i dont even wanna go through the time of taking off the emblems because thats the only thing im painting. Should i just plastidip it since it peels off easy?

I decided to pull everything apart to clean each piece and paint separately. To each his own.

It seriously took me 20 minutes while working at 40% speed to take off the bumper. I don't want to have to peel anything or redo this later.

Either way good luck.

The back is so easy to take off I'm not sure why you wouldn't. Just use fishing line/dental floss and slide from top down and bottom up (use a heat gun to soften it first). There are two clips halfway down the emblem, one on the left and one on the right. You'll feel the floss stop when you hit them. Then just gently pry it off. I wouldn't use the method shown in the Youtube video.

I plan on painting everything BUT the A though just FYI.

I want the chrome trim around grille and the A left alone everything else will be blacked out.
