How do you check voicemail via Bluetooth
If I type in *99 it says I must hold down the 1 key on my phone.
If I dial the 800 voicemail number I have to then enter my cell phone number and THEN my password. That's too much work.

We all have the similar issue with 04TL... this "prototype-like" vehicle is not fully equiped all features yet, IMO, you may need to work with your keypad of the cell in order to dial/key-in those specific nubmers/commands.
Or you could store those voicemail number and password into your HFL, and call them out when you need.

Then what?
Do you have to enter your passcode?
With Cingular you can call your owne number but then you have to enter * and then your passcode.
I tried doing that by voice but the car held each number for 6 or more seconds. The tones were too long. They need to be shorter.
Any help?

With Sprint if you dial your number from your cell you are brought directly into your voicemail without have to dial passwords. This an option you can actually turn off if you dont like this funtionality

i don't know if it is different for navi, but i haven't figured out a good way to do this - you can program your password, but it is still hard to dial the numbers to navigate through your v-mail (next messg, delete messg, etc) so i've been doing it on the phone.

cingular voice mail by voice command
hi folks,
I have been checking my cingular voice mail by programming a phone book entry for "voice mail" with my local voice mail number...I have also saved a phone book entry for "password" that is my password preceded by the asterisk, i.e. "*xxxx"
This way, I can say "dial voicemail" and AS SOON as it picks up, I say "send password" and confirm the request as soon as recognized ("yes, Suzy, I would like to send password"). That has given me a pretty reliable means to check VM. Once in, i've found that hitting the phone button on the steering wheel and yelling "7" (Delete) or "9" (save) or "77" (delete while this fool is still talking) works pretty well.
hope this helps.
