I must really suck at searching because I couldn't find what I was looking for, hopefully someone can help me.

I want to remove my reverse light covers so I can black them out with tint. Can someone please explain how to do this. It looks like it would just pop out from the inside of the truck but I want to know the right way because I'm afraid i'll break something. I tried pulling it out at all different angels and it won't budge. Maybe the whole exterior rear assembly comes out? I'd appreciate it if someone will shed some light on this topic.

That only tells you how to change the bulb, and here's the thread for removing the license plate frame so you can get at the backup light. I don't think it tells you how to remove the cover of the light because it is probably made all in one piece, but you will know more when you get it out and then you can let us know how it went.
