How to change fog light bulbs on '04-'06 TL?

Everything under the engine bay is covered and the headlights dont appear to be accessible. I got new Nokya JDM yellow bulbs that I want to put in.

Any help...

Thanks!

What panels need to get removed to reach the headlights?

Not at all necessary. Both fog lamps are accessible by hand, though the passenger side is tighter. Use thin rubber kitchen gloves and the job is not difficult. However, if you have large hands, it is not a walk in the park.

You have to take the battery out for the drivers side or at least i did the passengers side was no problem make sure you have your radio and navi codes also...Oh yeah there's also a small phillips screw that keeps the bulb in the socket that has to be loosened you don't have to take the screw completely out just loosen it and the bulb turns right out

may not be necessary, but i have access to a lift, air tools, and every kind of tool i can possibly need so i prefer to take things apart to make things easier instead of dicking around to try and get it done quicker, which usually doesnt work

I asked this in the other thread but is it possible to take the bulb out by reaching from under the car, behind the bumper to get to it. Without taking off the wheel well liner? I don't wanna mess around with the liner because my a-spec kit is nicely attached to the fender and loosening it up scares me because I don't think I can install it back the way it is now.

Why? I didn't need to do this and it was easy to do it from the front of the car leaning over the engine bay.

Pretty sure there are a couple of under-body panels that you'll have to remove.

What I'm not sure about is if you can reach the fogs/HL from there. On an '07/'08, I know you could reach the fogs, but on the '04 - '06,

You can reach and remove/replace the fog lamps from the upper portion of the car without removing anything of consequence. It's a 10-15 minute job at best. You do not need to remove bumpers, wheels, inner wheel well liners, or batteries. All of this is completely unnecessary.

sorry I was asking about the HID bulb not the fog light/drl one. I forgot to specify, sorry.

I'm doing the install right now. I got the connector removed but I'm not able to take out the bulb. The diagram says to turn it 45 degrees but no dice. Anything im missing? Any tabs or anything I need to press to remove it? So far it's a PITA

It was a tight fit, but I didn't have to remove the battery. I just had to remove the top section of the tube that's in the way.

I just reached in and turned the bulb out, plugged in new bulb and turned back in. I already removed all the plastic panels so I don't recall if I had to remove anything else, but they pretty much pop right out.

I just did mine a few days a go you just have to remove the intake pieces on the driver side. It was a little tough to remove them but it was not to difficult.
