Hit a tire. Cheapest fix?

I hit a tire on the freeway. I was going about 80mph in the middle of the night, and didn't see the black rubber until it was too late to do anything but grab the steering wheel and brace for impact. Luckily it was the the rubber, no wheel.

So what would be the cheapest way to fix/cover this? Should I just get an a-spec lip and cover it? Is that possible, would it cover?

I believe the aspec front lip would cover it from the front but i think there might be a gap expose on the top.

I'm 99% sure the A-Spec lip will cover that part. My 04-06 lip covered that same area, and I'm almost certain the 07-08 lip can too.

Just get a new bumper. Even if the a-spec lip did cover it, that would drive me nuts knowing it was busted underneath.

^ +1, the bumper is very easy to replace on the TL.

I'd see if your insurance would cover it, replace bumper and pick up A-Spec kit at the same time

covering up a booboo with a bandaid wont make it go away.

Since we're on the topic of bumpers...I need to get myself a new one as well. Who has the best price shipped on here?
