High flow cats and J pipe

I have a 5 AT TL with all 3 muffler deletes, 3rd cat delete, weight reduction, and a lightweight pulley. How much of a difference would I see with hfc, and a j pipe? Together it would cost me abt $1000

Other than the weight reduction those would be the biggest change that you have made so far. expect maybe10HP.

J-pipe will give HP, the high flow cat will reduce power up top but give you some more low end power.

Also I live in Texas, would I pass inspection with pcds? I know pcds really wake up this car, but I’m still trying to pass inspection, as for sound, I’m 17 and my neighbors already hate me, might as well make it louder if it comes with more power. J pipe pcds and hondata flash? Are those good mods to look forward too?

You have a lot to learn as far as being a noise nuisance. You might come out one morning to find one of your neighbors got pissed off enough to slash your tires or smash your windows. I find loud exhausts extremely annoying, to say the least, and they let everyone know you're still a kid trying to be cool. Although I am for performance improvements, there's absolutely nothing cool about noise pollution.

My 2¢

i pass emissions in texas with PCDs and jpipe.
as long as the car doesnt throw a check engine light, you're good.

I'm also tuned via the hondata....

you just gotta check your expectations...
i spent close to $5k on mods and it only made my 6MT marginally faster...these new cars with turbo 4s kick my ass.
so, if you're fine with spending a few grand to make the car a little bit quicker, go for it.

I'll give ya credit for being able to tolerate the rasp and all with those mods; I couldn't bear it.

Hmmm, you know the way my car is right now, the drone is basically non existent. I’m just scared the pcds will make it where nobody will wanna be in car for more than 20 minutes. I beat some challenger rt to 60, so it’s not like the car is slow off the line. I just need up top power. I can’t stand after 2nd gear how lousy this car is. Basically all I wanna know is if I will feel a big difference pulling past 65 basically

PCDs wont make you car any louder than the RV6 HFPCs. I will only be noticable up top at WOT. But the sound is nice. Cruising and normal driving, you wont notice a difference. Even with an aftermarket exhaust.

my 8th gen is MUCH faster/quicker after CAI, magnaflow Cat back, just got a Atlp jpipe, rv6 hfpcd and debating between a race pipe or high flow cat? We have emissions but the only do obd2 port, no sniffer test and imma put the heat shield over the race pipe or hfc. I was thinking of getting a PLM hfc to eliminate drone/rasp. Im a 39 yr old man and cant have my car sounding like a 16 yr olds(even though i have a NICE alpine/Rockford system and underglows,&#128518I want the atlp high flow cat, but it's almost $400 and it's only 2-3 hp, plus ive read you lose some on the top end(atlp jpipe is best in that range, so ill be good i think? I just want a hfc cuz I HATE Hondas that sound like 90s Honda sohc DX with the big Tanabe exhaust and sounding like "bumblebee tuna" -Ace Ventura.....as thats what my boys and I called the sound of a big ass bee in your exhaust. 🤣 🐝 🐝 🐝 Will a high flow cat do the job of eliminating drone and rasp????.
