So today I attempted to swap my fog lights to an led setup, believing it would be a simple plug and play. Well it turns out that the previous owner swapped them to HIDs and I just never noticed. It looks like some splicing was done, but the connector into the ballast seems like it would fit into the LED. To no avail, regardless of orientation. Any ideas? Should I scrap the job he did (find an oem connector or such) and start over or am I missing something simple with this?

 

You can find cheap connectors online. Parts stores should have them as well. Just type whatever type of bulb LEDs are supposed to use. Then preferably solder the new pigtail and you are set.

If it doesn't fit, then it must be something different. I can't see that connector so I can't help.

Looks like you may need a 9006 to H11 pigtail
