Unhappy Hey Admins

What's up with the Ford ads appearing in my posts? Specifically, the words "drive" and "performance?"

But, you can filter ads based on keywords. In fact, you can specify that you only wanted "acura" related keywords and not "ford".

I never knew that. I thought those ads appeared only when you type in specific words such as "car" or something.

You can actually get rid of those ads so you don't see them.

Acurazine has to survive some how, since we are not contributing to server and bandwidth fees.

Ads are fine.

Click on the ? on one of the ads and it opens a page from Vibrant. The "Disable Ads" tab says this:

Disable Vibrant Ads

Don't know if the admins would like for me to post how on the boards. PM me if you want to know.

I would gladly pay a membership fee for this site so as to not have ads.

Didn't know you could do it that way. My method is the geeky method. I never click anywhere in ads so I'd never have figured that out.

I don't normally click on them, either, but logic dictated if there was a way, clicking on the ? might lead to it. This was probably the one time in a hundred that what amounts to a Help function actually worked.

Oddly enough (I loathe pop-ups), I don't see what the big deal is...don't roll your mouse over the blue words with a double underline .

I tried that but I would inevitably end up doing it by accident and it bugged me.
