all i gotta say is that I am in teh EXACT same boat as you in regards to color...i wanted black on black for sometime now but just switched to anthracite/ebony only because of the swirl factor...i'll wash it and clean it often and use the best stuff, but it's inevitable to keep it in tip top shape...the swirls WILL come regardless...g-luck..btw, what dealership did you deposit at?..any reason why you specifically chose them?

thanks

Only you can answer this question. I would encourage you to think about what color car you REALLY want. Assuming you keep the car for several years, the extra month wait time is trivial. I personally am waiting for an Anthracite/Ebony/Navi/6MT. I would not change colors just to get the car a few week sooner.

Good luck with your decision.

There are more Anthracite than NBPs on road.

NBP...no wait, don't get it...I like being one of the few. EVERYONE gets Antracite or SSM.

You can get swirls on them too. Nothing looks better than NBP after it is just washed. But make sure you think about it because you do not want to be sorry about your choice. I had to wait for my NBP about 12 days (?) it was worth it. Could have gotten SSM or Anthracite quicker but I am Soooo glad I waited.

I bought NBP. Everyone's advice has been about the same: NBP will be hard to keep clean, but oh it is gorgeous. Also, everyone has recommended splash guards ....

the decision was made for me
apparently salesman was not aware that someone had already claimed the black one a day before

oh well, i guess i'm sticking to the original color i had requested

and so the wait continues.........

Anthracite is an excellent color for the TL. I have NBP/Ebony and I get rave feedback on it. More important to me, as much as I like Anthracite, I like NBP even better. Wash it on a sunny day and look at the way those blue flecks stand out and sparkle. That looks sweet.
