"Help" DIY right now

I want to remove the intake resonator box NOW cause im bored at work can some1 help me wid out sending me to a different thread …I seen some1 done it on a tsx but I think its different ….so who is bored with the right knowledge to walk me through this now ,….its for my 2005 tl

take off the front bumper.
you'll see the resonator.
remove the piping

not sure if this'll help you but here is the OEM intake all taken apart.

the box is on the top right.

You're going to end up removing the parts circled in red and blue. Then, you can re-use the parts that are circled in blue by attaching them where the green arrow is pointing. Nevermind the bolts I wasn't really intending to circle any of those. And actually, I don't recognize the part that the green arrow goes over top of.

hey if you are doing this right now can you do me a favor and see if it's possible to reach the HID bulb from underneath the car. I mean, if the car is lifted up, can I stick my hand behind the bumper and get to it to change it. I don't feel like taking off the lining from inside the wheels well because my a-spec lip is nice and tightly bolted in there and I am scared it won't be like that when I reattach it all back.

I think ur talkin about the headlights and no u cant reach it

ok I did remove it very easily no more than 10 mins not counting the back and fort wid my job ,,, I didnt put bak the bumper on yet but did turn the car on to see if I can notice difference but so far havent =/ …so ill put the bumper bak on and maybe ill notice it then

Honestly I don't really notice a difference. MAYBE in the upper RPM at WOT but not a very obvious difference like I have noticed on other vehicles. Maybe a K&N drop in filter is in order as well.

I'm on the iPhone right mow so I'll be quick . It only took ten mins because I only took one screw off and the rest was brute force , and no I didn't break it , and I found out how it only sounds better when u push it . Thanks for ur help do any of u kno how much it should cause to paint the front of my car (2 fenders,hood,bumper and lip ) because I got two shops prices and it was 1100 and 850 for all ..
