I was recently laid-off my suit wearing job, I have severnce through the end of the year and got my full bonus too... For my next move, I'm thinking on doing some independent work, in blue jeans. Unfortunately the TL isn't suited for hauling the things I might need to work with, I haven't decided yet if I can afford to keep the TL AND buy a truck... I think I can but that opens me up to a little more risk.

Sorry to hear about the lay-off - hope it leads to better days, and best of luck whatever you decide!

You'll Love the TL.

I got a good deal too.

I picked up my '06 TL NPB/Ebony 6spd Navi in August of '06 for $30k with only 800 miles on it. It was a corporate demo (not a test drive car) and was never registered so I was considered the original owner. Although I was the original owner, I complained that it had 800miles on it so they gave me the certified extended warranty for free.

I drove from NY all the way to Chicago just to pick this baby up because it was an awesome deal.

My immediate plans are to clean it up some.. the aluminum trim peices inside on the console are pretty beat up; i'll replace those before I do anything else.

What I plan on doing for now
- Replace those aluminum trim thingys
- Tint Windows
- Switchblade Key (.. it's neat and fun to play with)
- TL-S rear side markers

It's funny - all of my other cars have been 150hp or less, not the best brakes, etc. -- things that make me want to change the car. The TL doesn't make me want to do that; naturally i'll end up with an AEM CAI and maybe comptech exhaust if it doesn't drone on the freeway, but i'm happy with the stock power (for now..=p), handling, brakes, and the feel of the manual.

Definately an A-Spec kit tho!!

Your car will look so much sexier with a nice tint and a spec.
Good job with taking the front plates off
I never realized how ugly TLs look with front plates until the girl at my school pulled up in her SSM TL last year with her front plates...
anyway did you hear about the Elk Grove meet on the 18?
