Headlight LED Conversion Kit

Hey everyone. I'm looking to convert my stock HIDs to LEDs in my 05 TL. The stock HID bulb is a D2S but every time I google for an LED conversion kit for my car it's showing me 9006 bulbs which are for the fog/driving light. Does anyone know of any Headlight LED kits for a 05 TL?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks guys.

well that just sucks. thanks...... how about the foglights? I HATE the yellowish tint of them. I got the SYLVANIA SilverStar zXe bulbs because I thought they wouldn't be so bad but still sooo yellowish. I don't won't to get an HID kit for them so is there a plug & play LED bulb for them to get the whiteish hue I'm looking for?? Thanks so much.

Wouldn't something as simple as this work to replace the HID bulb with an LED bulb?

hey whats up! i have done just about everything to my headlights that you can think of. Just allittle advice, you can go ahead and LED the headlights, but, WHY would you? the HID projection with our lenses and projector put out some of the BEST light in any vehicle. I have personally went to LED and it looked like complete dull lighting. the LUMens just dont stack up with the LED BULBS.

Were you looking for a better look? heres mine with PHILLIPs OSRAM 4500k HID and LED WHITE STRIP AND BLACKED OUT HOUSING!

Thanks for the input njresendez, I think i'm gonna follow your advice and just leave the HIDs as is. I def want more of a whitish hue for my fog/driving lights though but not sure of which bulb to get. But one thing I do REALLY BADLY want to do more then anything though is black out the housing and get rid of the orange side marker inside there like yours. I also like the LED strip you put in there too. Looks really clean. Do you have halo's in there too? It kinda looks like it in the pics but not sure.

VLEDs has some very bright LEDs for headlights. the problem with those is that you cannot have the bulb cover on once you install them for cooling, which will in turn allow moisture into the housing. i am running their led's in my fog housing and the light output is comparable to the HID.

Stick with HID.. The TL projector is a benchmark HID projector so if it ain't broke, why fix it? I love my LEDs too but not for headlights yet. They're not ready for prime time and the optics for your car would be so crappy.

Agreed one of the main reasons I bought the TL. The light output is amazing even in a stock form
