brettalica-the last I heard there were 3 guys trying to sign on to clear headlights, but not one of them has commited yet, as far as I know.

Send me a PM with the name of this guy, and I'm checking with Astroboy for the latest on the vendor process, so if I know which one it is I can see if he's the one who is getting the job.

Have you talked to him lately, and is he still definitely interested in signing on?

 

No, unfortunately for me (shipping costs!!!), he is not from Santa Cruz. He runs his operation out of Ohio.

As far as meeting up so you can check out the work, I would be down with that. My lights aren't installed yet - they're in transit via USPS right now - but when they are you'd be more than welcome to see how it all looks.

 

The vendor brettallica is talking about hasn't signed on yet, although he indicated he was interested. We had three different people wanting the job at the same time but so far none of them has committed.

We know there is a lot of interest to get this done, so if brettalica would contact him again and see what the holdup is, maybe we can get something going.

Until then, please be patient as it's all up to one of these three prospective vendors if they want to sign on.

We don't have anyone yet. When, and if, we get a vendor, he will post a thread with prices and details on what cars he can work on and how it's going to work.

Welcome Retrofit. Me and some others would like to know if you would be able to do 2G TL's (1999-2003) as well. I would like to have mine cleared and blacked, and I know some others would like to as well. I would let you use mine as the trial pair, but I am a delivery driver at night so I need my lights. Let us know if you can do this and approximate pricing.

Do you only clear headlights? or black them out too? and can you do both like half clear and half blacked out like some members here have them?

 

Yes I can do mods for pretty much every model acura out there including the 2g TL's

I also wil be doing black out services, as well as carbon fiber treatments and modifications for the HID system to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

I just got my headlights today. In person, they look absolutely great. I'm pretty confident in my handyman skills when it comes to a lot of things, but I'm fairly certain that I couldn't have done this job as well as Retrofit-Source did. The pics from earlier in this thread tell the story, but if you need clearer ones or whatever, let me know and I'll post them.

I have a couple other things I'm still waiting on that pertain to my front end project, so as soon as I have those, I'll go ahead and have the lights installed....of course, pictures will be coming as soon as that happens.
