hey guys ..just wondering will the 08-07 head lights fit an 2004 with no problem?

 

i just did the 07-08 TL type S headlight swap on an 05 with angel eyes and switchback leds.

they fit but some modification is required: you need the 07-08 ballast (cause they're smaller, the foglight bulb is a 9005 as opposed to 9006 but if you get a 9005 bulb, the back socket won't fit in terms of shape with your 04-06 connector.

the turn signal is now 1157 as opposed to 7443 so the same problem will occur as the foglight.

i used silicone to put switchbacks into the turn signal socket and is "glued" there. i have 9005 bulbs in the headlight but don't function (yet, i will change that later).

other than that, you're good to go.

 

oh and one thing, if you have an 06, the ballast will fit, as in, you don't need to get another one. but you might run into problems with the turn signal and foglight, i think.
