Is there any way to set the car to beep on the first press. Also is there any way to make the beep louder? Thanks

 

The first press is lock, the second press is arm. You could wire it to the horn.

OR- you could get an aftermarket alarm or someone (or yourself) who knows electrical connections to hook up a louder beeper.

 

the 2nd press is just the acknowledgment beep and turns off your lights right away (before the timer does it) if you left them on. i believe it locks AND arms on 1st press, not that the arming does much of anything on these cars. and no, you can only turn that beep on or off on the 2nd press only (unless you mod it).

btw, heres a good place to complain about the auto lights off feature. if they turn off automatically according to the timer you set, why would they make that annoying dinging sound reminding you theyre on? i hate that! makes your passengers tell you somethings wrong. ugh.
