Have you found any New Features?? (Summary in Post #1) 3G Garage #L-001
#442
Ok, am I finally posting a new "feature"?
I found this out on accident. This "feature" allows for more airflow to be coming out of the vents while in the "Head/Top Body" mode. (I've always felt that the air has been kinda light until you get about half-way up the power scale).
Have the circulation button set to receiving air from outside (not cabin circulation). If you're moving, you should feel some air coming through the vents even when the fan/AC/Heat is off. Now if you turn it up to the first power stage of the fan, you should feel a little more.
Now if you push the moonroof/sunroof to tilt, you should feel a lot more air coming through the vents.

After turning the car off and leaving the key in the accessory position, the windows will work for about 5 minutes. This has been mentioned, but the lights will stay on on the window switches until they no longer work.

Once was I was using my phone (bluetooth) in the car. When I parked the car I turned it off from habit, BUT, the phone call was not cut off and I was able to finish it. I was still talking through the HFL's mic and not the phone itself. Not sure how long the power will hold up. Once I hung up, the bluetooth connection was dropped.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but wanted to share a feature and didnt want to start a new thread.
Our windows have a Auto-Reverse feature. If you hit the auto up and then push down on the glass, the window will stop and then start to go back down.

This will last about 20 minutes, but before it boots you off, she will come over the speakers and warn you how dangerous it is to use the bluetooth this long. Also she (or he I guess if you switched it to dude) will suggest that you end the call or turn the car on to preserve battery life. you can also just say "transfer" and it will drop the call back to the handset.

Something I found out the other day, which I'm sure is mentioned in the manual, is when I was getting out of my car for work in the morning, there was a good song on the radio, so I sat there and listened to all of it with the key in the ACC position. After the song was over, I turned the key to the OFF position, gathered up my stuff, opened my driver's door and pressed the lock button on the door, as I always do when I get out. The switch didn't lock the doors. I pressed it again and it still didn't work. Thought maybe the switch broke and then that's when I finally heard the chiming meaning the key was still in the ignition. Good safety feature. Definitely saved me some headache and trouble from locking myself out of my car.

I would add something regarding the windscreen wipers:
The point I would add is that when the wipers are on intermittent and you stop the car, the wipers will always automatically perform a wipe whenever you take your foot off the brake, regardless of the amount of time left in the intermittent cycle before the next wipe, because the idea is that you should have the windscreen clear when you start to move regardless of the intermittent speed you're using.

The environment control system in the car will blow hot air up front onto the windows before blowing it into the main cabin to prevent the windows from fogging up when you initially turn the heat on...although it may seem like the heat didnt turn on when you just set it...

I just found a new feature completely by accident.
I was standing outside my car and popped the trunk with the remote, but was doing something and after a minute or so, the partially cracked trunk shut and locked itself again!
I was thinking about getting a more powerful spring that pops it open completely, but no longer. I'm sure this is to prevent accidentally unlocking the trunk, or unlocking it and forgetting to open it.
Might not work for those with upgraded trunk springs.

Thankfully I was outside my apartment building and my apartment and individual room were both unlocked so I got my second set of keys. Otherwise I would've been screwed.
I was so worried for the rest of the day that I carried my second set of keys on me just in case.
Any idea as to what could've happened? This is the only time.

Funny you say that, because the other day my mirror started acting up (started moving all crazy after I had come out of reverse). I got out of the car to check it out, and even though the TL was in park, the car locked (I hadn't moved out of park or anything). The car had locked itself while it was running without me using the door lock switch or anything.

I did not have time to read all 11 pages. I wish we could get a condensed thread that is stickied.
This may have been posted but did you know you can roll down your windows and sun/moon roof with your key fob/remote? Like on a hot day to air out your car with leather before you get in.

It's the safety issue. But you insist, maybe you should buy the extra one from the junkyard and insert it all the time.

This thread is good reading for all new guys. When I joined Acurazine, I found this thread, printed out every page and kept it in the garage as a reference.
