if you want a huge improvement in the stock sound system.. i suggest investing in the subwoofer being developed by acuratlparts.com. the subwoofer is placed in the stock subwoofer location behind the rear seat. i've heard the prototype and the sound quality and I was very impressed by the sound quality with stock speakers, h/u, etc.

I think the dvd-a sample cd sounds great - unfortunately you can't find much music in dvd-a. I feel a regular cd sounds ok, not great -need more power from the unit. This could be because I am using files in mp3 format.

Two questions - is there software that will convert mp3's to a dvd-a format?

2nd - I can't decide if I prefer listing to cd's with the dolby pro logic II on or off. The volume and bass seem louder with it off. What is your opinion? Have you noticed that with the Pro Logic on and the fader to rear speakers only, the sound is just "wavy" to simulate surround sound and sounds like crap.
