its taking awhile to start. Thought it might be bad gas but I've run 1/2 tank of shell 93 and its getting worse. Drove it to Acura this am and the "tech line" is not open until monday so it goes in then. Anyone else have this problem? Once it starts it seems fine.

 

Do you mean something like a chugging sound when you first start the car. If so Acura says that this is "normal". It has something to do with the emissions of the vehicle, so I've heard.

 

no. just like my old cars in the 70's.... engage the starter and it turns over for about 5 seconds and then fires. Like its bad out of tune. Its been symtomatic for about a week.

 

This has been an issued mentioned a few times on the forums, and is a known problem- however for most it only happens once in a while. overall in the last few months it's happened to me less than 10 times. if it's happening more for you, probably should take it to the dealer.

some people has also reported that turning the key to the "ON" position and waiting a few seconds before trying to fire the ignition.
