Happy thanksgiving to all also. Well...black Friday now. Roads were scary here tonight. A really light haze of snow on top of wet roads...and I came up to a stop light as it turned red, hit the brakes and kept sliding into the intersection. Was quite the surprise. Luckily the streets were pretty empty tonight.
Be safe driving to all the door busters in the morning!

I hope everyone had a great holiday. I've been on the radio non-stop this weekend (Thursday thru today). I've had 10 people to my house for Thanksgiving dinner too. Plus, I've had 3 hockey games to work (one the night before Thanksgiving, one Friday night and one Saturday night). That's why I haven't been on Acurazine that much. I finally get a day to relax today! It's back to work tomorrow......oh well. Another holiday bites the dust!

Happy late Thanksgiving!
I hit a couple of the sales on black Friday. Walked away with a table saw for $60, a 14 gallon shop vac for $20 and 300 LED Christmas lights for $15. Kind of boring. The GF on the other hand bought $400 worth of "stuff" that we'll probably never use.
There was one fight at Target. Some guy and woman fighting over a TV. Both tugging at it. It was funny to see two 50yr old adults fighting over a TV with the woman screaming like an infant. The guy ended up pulling his fist back like he was going to hit her. Against my better judgement I lightly grabbed his fist from behind and tried to be as non confrontational as possible. He went off on how I made a huge mistake and generally screaming at me, I tried not to but ended up laughing which made it worse. The woman took off with his TV. As I turned to walk away I told him if he took a swing he was going to lose that arm just in case he decided to follow. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. I was totally embarassed and realized how white trash we looked but thankfully I never got mad or raised my voice, I was smiling the entire time.

People are amazing nowadays. I slept until 11 and steered clear of every shopping area on Black Friday.

CJ-I actually have 3 jobs (1 full-time and 2 part-time).
My full-time job-I'm an Associate Publisher for a Business-To-Business Publishing company. I've been there for 18 years.
My 2 part-time jobs-I'm the Stadium Announcer for the minor league pro hockey team here in Kansas City.
I'm on the radio (KCFX-Kansas City) Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-3pm. But with the holidays here, I worked a lot extra this week for Thanksgiving.

I usually try and steer clear of crowds especially black Friday but I got dragged there and the consequences would have been a lot worse than potentially getting beat up if I had refused to go lol. IMO I would gladly pay more to stay away from people but the tablesaw for $60 which was regularly $250 was pretty neat. I ended up getting two of them with one as a gift.

I got an Ipod Nano that I use in the car now, and lock up in the glove box when I get out. IMO it was worth the 140 bucks spent to it. I filled up 5.5GB and still have a little more to add. I also assumed there was a fight at the walmart I was at, an African American male and white female were being torn apart and all I heard was "you stupid @$$ n1gger" Although that probably didn't help her case seeing there was an abundance of them there.
