HandsFreeLink?

When i follow the directions in the manual it says that the remote has not been programed...how do i program the remote? Ania

ok maybe its not called that ... on the dash display where the odometer is there is something that you can program your lights to stay on...your doors to lock after so long..and so on and when i press the select button and hold it down it says that there is no remote programed.....but how could that be i open my door and stuff?

Ania, you need to sync up your keyless remote with the car. I had the same problem before, check the manual to be sure, I believe you need to press the lock and unlock button at the same time to get the keyless remote to be recognized by your new TL.

I concur with the above comment; just push the lock and unlock button on your remote (keyless entry is another accepted term) till you hear the beep sound. Then you can use MID to set your preferences...

Ania - I had the same problem. What I discovered was that I could sync the key fobs to the car by pushing lock and unlock at the same time but not putting the key in the steering column. I don't recall that part being in the manual. Good luck.
