Does anyone have the Honda Emblem on the 3G TL if so shoot me some pictures. i been wanting to put Red Honda Emblems on my TL for the longest but I not to shure about how im going to put it on the front grill. or maybe put the OEM crome H on the front and back. I <3 JDM this is why

There's only one that I know of who has it on his trunk - ACCURATEin. Looks sick too (along with the rest of his car). He doesnt have a front grille tho so he didnt have to worry about that part.

But, it's very retarded if you think about it. The TL is not sold in Japan, nor do they currently have the ACURA line. There is nothing" JDM " about the 3G TL, it's USA all the way, well a little China and Canada action too.

 

Well to me it looks good man.. i like it!! i know there isnt any TL in japan! but Honda originally came from Japan. It does say honda mo. company on the motor to. also i grew up loving JDM cars and the way they look. thats why im thinking about doing this. just to be on the jdm side you know.. even doe they dont have it in japan. yea his car is sexy!!!!! thats what im worried about to the front. if my front was like his i would do it but its not.

 

i just want to keep it the jdm look. i know theres no jdm parts but the fact of the way it looks. it looks meannn. just a little. outside jdm accesseries will turn it out. tow hooks and jdm licence plate fram and H emblem ETC. you know make it look a lil JDM

If I owned a Saturn Vue per se can I put a Honda Emblem on there too. I am not joking. I have thought about throwing a honday emblem on or a different color emblem on my TL

I like the way TL's look better plus I got a good deal on mine. The man was just wondering exploring options of what to do to his car. I say you go do it and take pictures and then post them up so we can see.

Here's the thing, though. It's not a JDM look. It wasn't designed in Japan. It was developed in the US & designed by Jon Ikeda who is an American Honda designer.

Nothing about the car is JDM.

well, on 2G TL, it made sense.. We all rocked it since the Honda twin was in existence, the Inpsire....

Now with a 3G TL? Definitely do not put the H.. it's wrong... Debadge or keep the A

 

You say that you want to give it a JDM look?
That makes no sense. To give it a JDM looks means that you would have to buy some parts from an imaginary 3g TL from japan, that they dont put on the USDM TL. All you're doing is putting a Honda emblem on.

If that's what you want you should just say it, instead of trying to say that you like the JDM look.

Put the honda emblem if you want. Don't let us stop you from doing what you want. But I think that's stupid. I know that Acura is a Honda, but it's a division of Honda, which is why they put the Acura emblem on is. It's like putting ESQ on a Movado watch.

 

get a 7th gen accord V6(06-07??) and JDM that... now thats a material....

Seriously though don't listen to these guys do what you like to do with your car. Even though the 3G isn't technically built in Japan doesn't mean its not a Japanese based car.

Who the hell cares if it isnt built there or not. We might as well rip off the Acura symbols and put nothing on and call it a domestic car.

we can debate this all day, rebadging cars is some peoples cup of tea, and some people hate it. lots of people dont get it, but the people that do it have a vision for their cars.

its mainly to separate it from every other car like theirs on the street. just like its all about rebadging with acura emblems in japan. its just to be different. on a 3g tl its more of a head scratcher though for reasons already discussed. to each his own though
