There are two buttons beside our stirring wheel, one is VSA, what is the other one?
Or guess what it will be in the future?
Or is the other button has something to do with the XM satellite radio? Caz I bought mine TL in canada...which they do not have XM sattelite radio...

 

It's an open slot. It does nothing in my USA 5AT model.

 

That slot was left there for the '05 model, which will have a "anti-headliner falling, anti-tire flat spotting, rattle reduction" button. In the center of the button will be a jack to plug your ipod into.

 

There was a thread on this already. i didnt care much so i didnt keep up with it.. But they got alot of inputs, as maybe, the back up sensors.. or just safe EXTRA button.. or incase owner wants to install somthing.... But look for it.. may they did get an answer that is correct..

 

Is it used for the rear parking distance sensors?

I think the sensors are automatic and always on - no button to press (or defeat).

that area is just an empty slot.. a lot of cars have something like that i believe..

 

its for the 05 Nitro Boost option.
