what's up fellow acura owners i normally post in the 1g cl (have a 97 3.0)or visit rambling. this is my first thread/post here but i had to share this with u 3g tler's. on my way home today i see the 3g tl (black) lookin real clean behind me in the other lane.i go further and this guy is on my ass so there's only one thing i can do floor it.we catch a light and we talked for a quick second (told him about azine)asked each others mods he had nice chrome rims, exhaust,custom euro tailights.and do i wanna race. the light turns green and i take my ass whooping like a man when i noticed his euro tails were nothing more than him smashing the red cover off his tailight.in all honesty it didn't look that bad.still if i had a 3g i would never ....hope this dude comes on and posts pics my cam phone sux and i couldn't get a good one. i could see if you got into an accident and your tails broke then get all the red out but why destroy a mint car? :shakehead

So I'm still confused if he had smashed tail lights, or he has custom tails that LOOK like smashed tails??

 

i looks like he smashed his own tailights there was no damage to the rear at all it was mint. it was the tl tailights just the red outer covering was all taken off.(you could kinda tell)but like i said it didn't look that bad.

so now you guys have a diy on free alteeza's
time 5 minutes

step 1 go to cl smash tailights with hammer until theres no more red
step 2 drive and be

What the heck are "euro taillights"? If you mean Altezzas. I thought those were more of an asian thing than a euro thing?

I think it may look a little weird if the tailights are cleared, but the side marker is still red. If one does this mod, I think they should replace the rear side markers with a clear one as well. In any event, I don't think there are clear side markers for the rear (or is there?).
Yeah, I guess pics would be nice.
