Got my new TL Satin Silver/Quarts and Navi
Hi All: I'm new to the board. I took delivery of my TL in Novenber.
Here is an odd story for you. I drove off in my new TL and drove back to my house across state 3.5 hour drive.
The next morning (Sunday) I backed it out to wash it and to my horror I saw a ginormous puddle of tranny fluid on the floor of my garage.
So I called my dealer and let them know what happened. He called roadside assistance.
The rollback towtruck shoed up shortly after and trucked it back to the dealer.
The dealer called me back on Monday morning and said that the tranny had a " catastrophic failure".
So after learning that, I was transferred to my sales person, and the General Manager.
They said that this type of thing was a BIG Shock to them. And no sooner then I said I was devastated they arrange for a rental car for me and had a brand new twin TL to the one I had just purchased on it's way up to their dealership.
Tuesday my complete replacement was sitting in my driveway
Anyway a loong story, but a great ending.

Hi retts & caball88: Yes this all happened last November within a span of 3 day's start to finish.
I was sure amazed how fast the replacement TL was delivered to my house that is 3.5 hrs away from my dealer by my salesman.
This is the first Acura that I have owned. my wife and I have owned Honda's since 1995.
My wife is driving a 2003 Honda Odyssey after trading a 1996 Ody with 35,000. I traded a 1995 Accord EX V6 with 56,000 miles for my TL.
My wife still has not driven the TL yet, maybe in a few weeks I'll let her take a spin at the wheel.
