I just put my rim's back on last week. I went to work and when I went out for my break I noticed my bumper popped out of place. Upon further inspection I noticed a nice scuff,2 nice scratches and some black paint. Whoever did it took off so I gotta wait to see if our camera's caught anything. I still have the MINOR dent's from the fight and this one isn't THAT bad but it still pisses me off to no end.This is my first NEW car, I know it's my DD and ain't gonna be perfect forever but WTF. Have some respect and let someone know if you hit their ride. That's what insurance is for!!! I don't care if I hit a beat up pinto I let the owner know. Just wanted to vent......

My rear bumper is stillscratched up; thank god itwasn't a fender or anything metal or it w ould rust by now.

 

thank's,I hope so but sad thing is even as a supervisor, I don't have access to our tapes. Someone else(admin) is gonna review them and I have a feeling if it was a "big wig" either nothing will be seen,it's not recorded, or the angle is no good and I'm gonna have to eat the repair cost.

It happens all the time. I've had my car dinged twice, one on each side. The other driver probably didn't even have any insurance and booked it.

 

That totally sucks man. Our cars attract idiots sometimes. I had my car only like 2 weeks and I come out of work to see a nice 2-3 inch long gash on my driver's door. Pissed me off...luckily it wasn't severe enough to have to get it repaired. Hope you can catch whoever it was, and get it fixed without much trouble.

 

Phew, I started to read this and I taught they got you for your rims. Sucks to hear what happened, somebody got me on my rear bumper already. Hopefully that tape will do justice.

 

what really get's me is I'm 99% sure it was someone I work with. I'm cool with just about everyone I work with and they know how I feel about my car. I know that accident's happen, I'm more pissed at the fact that someone tried to get out of taking care of the situation.

I'm also very superstitious. I'm scared cuz bad thing's happen in three's. My headlight just started flickering, now I got a nice new blemish.Haha I'm driving on eggshells for a while

headlight is flickering? sounds like inverter / ballast.. I think when the HID lights goes out they dim rather than flicker..

Press the network admin to show you the tapes. Don't take the suckers word for it and tell him it's a priority. Even though you're cool with everyone at work it's chicken shit to drive off. Time to bring the hammer down.

When / If you find out who it is.. pull them aside.. have a talk.. I'm sure they are going to claim they didn't know but tell them it needs to be claimed and covered under their insurance and whether or not they knew.. they should be honest, responsible and drive more careful.. it could have been a person they hit.

GOT THE BASTARD!!!! I was able to view the tapes with the administrator and saw exactly what happened. The tape was grainy so I went to the gps and found out exactly who it was. I'm working with him now and he still doesn't know he's caught. I gotta wait for our chief operating officer to come in tommorow for "the meeting"

Every work truck is tracked,since we couldn't make out what truck in the vid we pulled up WHERE every truck was at the time and who was driving. It was narrowed down to 2 truck's,one had white paint on the bumper......

haha, I'm sitting here next to dude and he has no clue. I think he thought the camera for the area my car was hit in was down but it was the monitor that was out. It was recording the whole time. I also forgot to mention,the chief operating officer drives a stock 04 anthricite.I usually get screwed in situations like this. Finally I won one!!!!!

I feel what you guys are saying. While my bumper isn't popping off or anything, my TL now has a ding on the bottom right near the bumper. Don't know where it came from, just noticed it one day and it bummed me out for a minute.

I came out one day and saw my bumper was scratched up and had red paint on it. I tracked the incident down to my dog obedience class, so I went back the next week, measured all the red cars bumpers, took photos and waited for the owner to come out. She claimed she didn't do it, even though she had silver paint on her bumper, and we had a little "discussion" to which she got in her car and took off. Next day headed to the PD and within 3 hours they tracked her down, got to her take the blame and I had an insurance check in the mail!

Sometimes it pays to watch those cop shows... plus it pays to be your own detective sometimes!

 

Just two weeks after picking up brand new 08 MDX. Took it to work and when I came home I noticed that there was a freakin ding on the tail above license plate slightly to the left. Believe me I know how you feel Bro.

This car has been in the bodyshop more than any other car I had combined. I'll admit it's part me though. I'm anal so any mark is unacceptable and I'm right at my friend's shop.

 

In case your interested to know what happened, dude got fired and the company is covering the damage. It's approx $450 and she should be back up to par sometime next week.

This was his SECOND hit-n-run. That and his work ethic sucked. Cool ass kid but from a supervisor's standpoint it's no big loss for the company. I KINDA feel bad but.......
