Got into a Minor Wreck...Need Advice

Hey guys

I got into a minor wreck in my NDP 08 TL. Looks like only the bumper and hood need to be replaced.

My question to you guys is if it is worth it to get the OEM bumper or get another type of bumper? I can't find another bumper and I'm sure the price difference can't be that much. I don't want a full body kit, but do plan on getting some type of lip kit that goes around the car in the future. I just want something subtle on my car.

I'm a noob at modifying cars and all this stuff so someone please help me. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully pocket, I am trying to settle with the person I hit outside of insurance

I just figured since the bumper was gone, it would be a good time to do a mod that I always wanted to do but never got around to it. I just dont know what the options are and how much of a price difference is it going to be over the OEM bumper?

With an 08, currently you dont have any options. RJ front bumper is out. Dont think Versus has a bumper for 08.

I mean you could get the 04-06 but i believe you lose the fog lights. Its gonna be alot more than a stock bumper though!!

I would say, call up some salvage yards see if they got one, buy that get it resprayed, then throw on a Aspec Lip

So best bet is just get the OEM and put a lip kit on it?

You guys have a good estimate of how much it would be for an OEM bumper and hood?

This is the pricing from acuraoemparts dot com:
60100-SEP-A90ZZ ACURA TL ENGINE HOOD (DOT) 2007 TL 422.36
04711-SEP-A80ZZ ACURA TL FR. BUMPER FACE (DOT) 2007 TL 225.70

you might need that satin trim piece and fog light covers to, depending on the damage. Post pics so we can tell you what exactly you need.

These are the best pictures I could come up with. They are kinda crappy because it was my cell phone but it is a 2megapixel camera. The lighting didn't help at all. However my dad and I kind of reattached the bumper and taped it up so it is somewhat driveable. Anyways, heres the pics, I hope it gives someone a better idea of what I can do.

Also, where can I get the Aspec kit from? I cant find them on Ebay.
