How is $16000 for a 2007 kbp tl-s auto with 90k?
One owner and clean carfax.
It needs tires and front brakes and the wheels have some curbing.
I figure that's about $1500 worth of repairs.
Thanks!

if it's a mechanically and cosmetically sound car, I would go for it. Try and get a little more off for the brakes at least.

Just realize that 105,000, the first major tuneup will be needed. If you take it to the dealership, it could cost ~$1,400.
But Kinetic Blue Pearl is a rare, excellent color Type S!

Thanks everyone.
Well, I drove over an hour to see the car on Saturday. The dealer said it had normal wear/tear for the miles.
I guess I should have clarified that a bit more on the phone.
When I saw the car in person, my heart sank. It was beat to hell. I've never seen a 5-6 year old car in such bad shape. The clearcoat was off the paint in multiple spots (hood, front/rear fenders) and it had several deep gouges in the paint. The wheels were really curbed and the nav screen had bad swirl scratches in it. The tires weren't just low. They were smooth as nascar slicks.
Despite all that, I still took it for a drive. I have test driven quite a few TLs and never noticed any rattles, which seems to be a common complaint.
Well, this one had a rattle behind the gauge cluster and it was so annoying I think that alone would have stopped me from buying the car.
The car had decent power (definitely needs v8 torque though), but the tranny didn't seem to be shifting very well. Perhaps 92k of rough driving has taken its toll...
So much for the deal.
The dealer is asking $18300 for it. They had agreed to take $15,900 (black book finance rate). After seeing the car, I didn't think I'd even want to pay more than 10k for it. It definitely needs the hood and two quarter panels repainted, a big dent pulled out from the passenger door, and a new nav screen, plus the tires and brakes.
