Good Price?

I'm thinking of getting this used 2004 Acura TL navi. The color is Anthracite Metallic with 23,163 miles on it. I can see it even has the A-spec kit on it. The Landmark Honda dealer is asking $28,890 for the car. I'm doing to try and get it for $28,000 WITH taxes, title, and license. What does everyone think? Good price?

KBB has the car listed as roughly $31,575 retail value, and $28,560 private party value.

Its going for $24-26k at auctions and this was a off lease car so its even cheaper to them I think, so the price your trying to get is not bad at all with tax and title, but without I wouldnt pay anything over $26,000

Hmmm. Interesting. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm trying to get USAA on the phone to see what would be possible as far as what I would be approved for.

Why are they going so low? Is this normal?

LOL, this guy just "offered" me the car for $30,500 OTD. I asked him to accept $28,000 OTD.

Honestly...$28k is a little much for this car with 23k miles on it. And if its coming off a lease, its very possible it was abused during that period.

Meh, the guy would not come down from $30,500 OTD. That's BS. I declined it. The thought of having a car with A-spec on it for that much was enticing.

Was the car equipped with the kit only, or the whole aspec package? If it was only the kit. It was not worth it. My father bought is 05 TL in Oct. for $30,500 brand new. Just keep looking around. The kit is cheaper to get online from acura rather than the dealer.

It was the body kit only, but it would have ben nice to get the kit with the car (it's already on the car) because my wife hates it when I spend over $100 on my car. She's getting better about it though.

I wish I could find something local.

Ain't that the truth. I can't even do an oil change, without my wife complaining why I'm spending money on the car.
