Good Locksmith in Connecticut? (Switchblade Key)
Good Locksmith in Connecticut? (Switchblade Key)
Anyone know of a GOOD Locksmith in CT?
I am just worried that someone will make a "mistake" and miscut the key. You know the old saying "it's not GUARANTEED to work". This is not a big deal if it is a "regular" key, they just pick another blank and recut.
But with this modded key (with the time and $ invested)....I REALLY don't want it to NOT work.

i had his cell number at one time but lost it.... i got his number from Inskip Lexus. i bought a lexus key on ebay and brought it to them to cut or whatever. they said they couldnt do anything cause all there keys are shipped in already cut from some place in mass. anyways, they gave me "THE LOCK GUY'S" cell number. He drove from Prov to Westerly where i live, cut it, programed it to start and unlock/lock the car (lexus fobs are on the actual key), and didnt even charge me! he said it was a learning thing cause he never cut a newer lex key! HAHA! i almost crapped myself. anyways, he did it and its never had a prob! heres some info i found on the net:
The Lock Guy
23 Link Ln, West Kingston, RI, United States
Phone: (401) 738-5656
prolly the same guy.

Just seems crazy someone would drive all that way and do it for free.
I found a guy in New Haven (Amity Lock) who has the transponder programmer. Price was like $40-$45. They came reccomended from another locksmith in CT who didn't have the hardware to program the key. When I get my key (which should come this week) I will let you know how it comes out.
now if my car disappeared, one would assume.... id include that in the post huh? hahaha! then theres the part where i explain y it was free.... cause he never did a newer lex key before... and he passed laser cutting it with flying colors! def let me know how it came out with the new haven guy tho! i got my eye on an 04 TL with 18,000 on it... everything is MINT! guess the price.... GUESS!!!! yeah, anyways, 21000..... now thats a friggin deal!
