Is this a good deal?

Hey guys, first post here. I know you probably get a ton of these "is this a good deal" threads, so I appreciate any input you have. I've been looking to get an Acura for a few months now, missed a couple opportunities, now having trouble finding what I really want.

I wanted a 2005-2006 TSX but those are really hard to find in my area (Colorado). So I've expanded my search to include TLs. Saw this one on craigslist and it looks like a pretty good deal, assuming the car checks out, drives well, etc. What do you think?

First off, that's not a type s, it's a base with a type s badge on it. The price for the miles is pretty decent, considering the timing belt was just done. I'd take a look at it, but I can only imagine how someone who puts a type s badge on a base would take care of their car.

Edit: I also never knew that Dealers had boats that they do service work at

True, good point. I couldn't even tell what that badge was from the picture.

Can you tell me what maintenance needs to be done at the 105k mark so I know what to ask? It looks like the timing belt and water pump was done, anything else?

Oh, and there's also this one I just found, which is a real Type S, but higher mileage. Same price. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...&&aff=national

Type-S was only available in 2007 and 2008.

One more question guys...should I stay away from 04 AT because of the transmission issues? It sounds like that's the case. Was it fixed in 05 and higher, or are they still iffy? (I have to get an AT so the wife can drive it.)
