Why exactly will this lip not fit?

Why exactly will this lip not fit?

This is an extremely good deal on a front lip, but it does not say it fits for a 2007 type s which I have. Does anybody know why exactly it will not fit and if it can be slightly modified to fit??

because the style of bumper changed.
04-06
07-08 base
07-08 type-s.

All three have different shaped bumpers.
there are millions of threads explaining this.

you will need the 07-08 type-s aspec kit.
not the 04-06 aspec kit.

you can get a body shop to modify the 04-06 lip kit to fit the 07-08 type-s bumper.

yeah i like the look of this one which is why i wondered if it can be modified to fit

this lip will look good. especially on a MUSCLE TL
