In general, no, I wouldn't. With a TL, if the timing belt job hasn't been done, that is a $1,000-$1,300 job.
I would also make sure the tranmission has been serviced, several times. If it goes bad, you are talking serious money.

$400 Hamilton Honda 105k mile service.
$200 3/4th gear sensor + Redline Racing ATF
= You should be good.
Nonetheless if the price and quality of the car is to much to pass than take it.
is it good to buy a car over 100,000 miles? Most likely not.

If you buy it renew all the fluids if they have not been changed already. Engine oil, trans fluid, P/Steering, brake fluid, antifreeze (antifreeze is new if timing belt job has been done recently), check the air filter, tire pressure, cabin air filter ( behind glove box), check serpentine belt, wiper blades, battery terminals, that is all I can think of.

If car was maintained well, has records, clear title and price is right, why not?
Familiarize yourself the TL 100-120K mile maintenance and make sure it was performed. Things like timing belt job and new spark plugs should have been replaced.

Around here TLs with 120K go for a bit more, if not the same, as ones with 100K. The difference is usually dealer 105K service which is usually advertised in the listing as being performed.
I plan on getting 300+ out of both of my TLs. They have to cross 100K at some point, so who cares if it was not with you as long as the price and circumstance is right.

I bought my '05 6mt tl at 86k mi for a steal at a porche dealership. Car was absolutely spotless. Anyhow fast forward 4 months and 20k miles later. She's at 106k miles and you bet I keep her clean and religiously maintained. And if I saw her today with 106k miles for sale again...I'd still buy the car. Don't rush the purchase, take your time and inspect it, review the maintenance portfolio, if one is available and make a smart decision. Lots of variable in car buying, I love my car, meets my needs and intend to keep her for a long time. Good Luck!
