Is this a good buy??

Hi everyone,

First post on Acurazine!

Just went on a test drive for a 2007 TL type s 6MT (blue on black effing beautiful) and considering buying the car.

it has 106K kms, bone stock, fully loaded, asking for $19,000. I know this car is incredibly rare to find, so im really really considering it.

Im coming off a 06 G35 coupe 6mt, gonna miss that baby, but its burning oil like a bitch and plus its time for a 4dr.

So is that a decent price? Thanks for the help.

Depends on where you are in Canada because the prices fluctuate from city to city and based on supply and demand. A 2008 stock KBP TL-S 6MT(same car as yours) with 80K kilometres (or 50K miles) sold in the Montreal area for $23,000 (my dream car...by the time I saw the ad and called it was already sold. ), so 19K sounds about right. If everything checks out with the car I say go for it.

Kinetic Blue Pearl is a rare color, plus it's a 6spd. IMO i'd buy it, especially if you really want it. If you wait too long it'll be gone. Just make sure the 105k service was done.

EDIT: Candian a-ziners, do you guys get the 105K service done at 105K KM? That's only about 66K+ miles.

Dont bother wasting your time haggling on price too. The seller will find buyers willing to pay his asking price. With a TL-S 6MT, if its a fair price, just pay it. The turn over rate is so quick on 6mt TL-S

I've been observing the used TL market in ONT for the last for year and I wouldn't pay more than 17k for that car, by the time you take it off his hands the car will be worth 15k. Dealers are coming down to 20k easily when negotiating on a TL-S with 80k-90k clicks, this car already has 106k ... just my 2 cents.

106k km is very different from 106k miles. I think that's a really fair price. 66,000 miles and 19k for a tl-s 6mt. I'd offer him 19.5 because you'll be waiting 6 months+ for another to pop up. and 66k miles isn't high. I know waiting for regular 6mt with navi in good condition took a long time. A blue tl-s 6mt might show up once in a blue moon, no pun intended.
