Going for service thursday
So I just got off the phone with the local dealer. I got the car from them about a month ago and I just wanted a few small things fixed. I am having them fix the rear shelf rattle (annoying as HELL) and the passenger side windshield wiper is shot. They said they will take care of it free of charge, am I right to be having them fix little things like that?

Nothing against you, but you didn't have to make a thread about this.
You should try to ask the dealer to fix any problems you may have, that is what the dealer is for.

You show an 06 as your ride- is this a used car purchase from an acura dealer?
If it were brand new: as long as its in the first 12 month warranty- they are used to rattles and adjustments-
they get paid by acura to do them,,just not as much as they can make working on other cars
Make a list of anything you have found, rattles.location- door adjustments- window issues squeeks...read the other threads to see if you have any matching complaints
If its ready for an oil change then it wont hurt to let them do it this time, makes you a regular customer and good guy when you need a favor later
Also ask them to check all the recalls are completed- they are supposed to do it but always ask to be safe
DECLINE the free wash and vac- they dont take care like you would, the low paid guy doing the work is not the best choice

Just incase you're new. The only thing that isn't covered by the dealership is wear and tear items such as tires, motor oil, fluids (unless their is a direct problem with the fluid aka transmission, brakes, etc...), lights, etc... They will replace transmission, O2 sensor, Catalytic Converter, Engine, and other things if under warranty that is slightly "wear and tear", but major items.
Damn, paid a 06 TL all in cash at 17?
