Going to look at '06 tomorrow need advice
I was wondering if you all could help me. Im going tomrrow to look at an '06 TL with navi/6spd. Beside the special financing are there any other factory 'specials' on TL's? What is invoice price on a 6spd TL? Thanks for any help!

There's a $3K factory to dealer incentive going on now for the '06's, right? So take your original invoice #'s and subtract $3K. One guy got an 06 manual withOUT NAVO for $27,500. Others are getting '06 NAVI AT's for under $30K. Search

Outside Philly, my dealer sent me an email with specials - my car ('06 leftover with navi/6sp) was going for $29 and change. Nice, since I paid $30 and change three weeks earler and they bitched about selling at that price.

STOP!!! Before you step to the dealer, reconsider an 07 TL Navi; why you may ask? 07's are now equipped with real time traffic! you'll regret buying an 06 BELIEVE ME! Peace

Stop!!!!
Before you buy an 07 you need to know that the 07's NAVI's are no longer "touch screens"... That's right..... You can't simply reach over and "touch" 116 on the screen to get XMKids for your children, you have to either use the voice activation (OK I guess) or hit the hard buttons...Something to think about, right?

Stop!!! before you consider the real time traffic as a benefit, ask some people who have experience using the system and you will find that it is questionable in its accuracy at best, certainly not a deal maker.

The RL and the RDX doesn't have touch screen, I believe. They use a giant center knob. The TL, however, always had touchscreen and the latest version (based on the RDX navi version) was specifically changed to add the touchscreen features for the 07 TL.
So to sum it up, the newer NAVI version originally didn't have touchscreen capabilities. Touchscreen was added for and only the 07 TL.
Check out ACURANAVI.COM to check out all the verisons.

The new MDX also is non-touch screen. The '07s aren't enough of a change to move to a non-touch screen. The next generation most likely WILL NOT be touch screen though.
