i was wondering if a cop could pull you over for speeding without radar gunning you..
because i was going on i-295 in NJ (which is always empty btw) to class and there wasn't one car on the road, so i topped out around 110/120, and maintaining the speed. my escort x50 was on, and was silent. suddenly, i pass by a NJ state trooper and immediately slow to around 60 after seeing and passing him. he catches up to me and starts tailgating me (running my plate?). after a minute or so, he changes lanes and blows past me..

We can and will pull over speeders with out useing radar or lidar the speedo in a police unit it calabrated and cert, all that is needed to for us to mantain speed where you are not pulling away form us or we can use what speed we had to do to chatch up to you over x amount of distance. radar and lidar are olny 2 other tools that we can use. we can also est your speed based on the training we get and amount of time we have on the job.

Holy shit. The officer is a member here ( he asked to remain anonymous considering how some of the more juvenile members feel about the law enforcement community)... He knew my car from my epic headlight thread. He has a badass silver TL with RonJon kit...
We spend a good 30 minutes rapping on the on ramp to 66, car show in Feb on the side of the road. I grabbed his card... i know I might need that one day.

Yeah man, I was down there couple of days the past few weeks doing some work for MARCORSYSCOM (fuckers) and I was right there. Figured there was no point in stopping by, since you SHOULD have been at work!

I was goin to yankers ny to get my rj rims
on I-95 I was goin 95mph on 65mph zone and all of the certain, my laser gun was indicating of strong laser band so I reduced the speed down to 65ish mph immediately...but then I was little late and officer pulled me over(I have a cobra, had v1 before but took that off after the error)
officer: good afternoon sir do u know why I pulled u over?
me: yes sir, I guess I was speeding over the limits
officer: license and registration please?
then I gave it to him, and about 5 minutes after he came back

My best story was getting pulled over coming out of a watering hole here in South Florida. There were two cops and they did the field sobriety test which I barely passed. I was so nervous that I called the female cop "sir". That prompted the male cop to laugh and he indicated that as I was acting like a gentleman and Christmas was a couple of weeks away he was going to let me go as long as I went right home.

i'm assuming most you guys are IVO Quantico area. its impressive to know there are TLers in this area. wondering where the photo shoot is taking place...lov to stop by and check out ya's vehicles. I'm in the market to replace my rims...lot of road damage having said that i'm really digging Kennedy's 5 pointers LMK.

if your still recon'in for location, 1,000 yardline Rifle range at WTBN has a great back drop around dusk...two spot on the range comes to mind, the hardball between 600-700 yardline provides good ground shots and the firing points at 1,000 yardline has a good overhead shots. my 2cents.

I was thinking Thursday/Friday afternoon, followed by a happy hour... I drive from Stafford to Tysons 5 days a week... I don't look forward to fighting the traffic a 6th time during the week, even if it is for fun.
If you guys wanna do a weekend thing, we should stay a little more "in the middle", like Woodbridge. I have a BBQ next Saturday too though.
