Front Type-S A-Spec on Base '07: blacked-out headlights/grill?
So i have a base model black 07 TL, i had cracked the bumper and had it replaced with the Type-S bumper after which i installed the Type-S Aspec kit (except for the rear).
Now my dilema is, should i black out the headlights? or the grill? I feel like it would look nicer if i do, but i'm afraid the car would loose some of its style.
Has anyone done this before? Any pics so i can compare?
Here's what my car looks like now
Thanks for your thoughts!

A body matched grill is where it's at. Why would you want to draw attention to the grill when you have headlights as sexy as the 3Gs are?

I'm more of a modded OEM look kind of guy.
Body matched grill, body matched headlights, kept the oem amber diffuser.

^With the chrome type-s it's excusable. :P
Gotta black out the headlights though. If you're not a DIYer contact one of our vendors.

You want to see blacked out headlights with "chrome" grill? All you have to search for is Type-S NBP TL with A-Spec lip kit. Millions of pictures online for that. Type-S comes with blacked out headlights. The diffuser is clear in the Type-S, but it's still blacked out.

huge fan of amber diffusers with blacked out headlights
here are some headlights that i've worked on that wanted to keep the diffusers.

So the vertical reflector is left alone but the "floors" and "ceilings" are painted black. That's what I did myself. Best look IMO!

Yea I had a hell of a time taping that off because the reflector is staggered not smooth. Plus if you touch that reflective coating too much it starts rubbing off. Huge PITA. Worth it though.

Awesome! thanks for all the pics guys, exactly what i needed.
I'm going to go with the chrome grill, blacked-out headlights v2 (w/ OEM diffusers).
I'll post pics once im done, hopefully before winter hits.

I believe he was referring to the model itself, spanning from 04 to 08 with a refresh in 07. What has been done on a 07 likely has been done on a 04 as far as aesthetics and performance goes (minus certain limitations).
