Front A-Spec lip only

Does anyone have, or has anyone seen a TL with just the front A-Spec lip? A friend of mine works in an Acura bodyshop and said he has an extra lying around. I just thought it might look odd without the rest of the kit. I'm about to have a Type-S bumper installed on the rear if that makes any difference.

What do you think?

I'm curious about this as well, besides the fog lights (which many regular TL's have) there's really nothing to distinguish the S-Type from the stock TL in the front.

I'm still looking for more pics now, but here are a few basic ones for comparison:

Its fine, just leave the mudguards on for the time being so it'll look better. Also rather than get a Type-S bumper, why not get the Type-S Rear aspec kit, do the cutting and put it on your factory bumper! No painting required and as well it's a whole lot cheaper!

Well I got backed into in a parking lot, so my stock bumper is trash now. Figured I'd upgrade to the Type S bumper since it's getting replaced anyway. I might look into that Type S rear kit down the road.

Thanks for the pics ttribe! I think I might give this a whirl. Like Thug said, it looks better than the stock bumper!

When I first got the car I bought just the front lip. Later on down the road I bought the rear and now I'm looking for the side skirts.

Unless I misunderstood him, it's going to be free, so I think I'll try it. How do those mount to the bumper?

^ Thanks! Looks like no real permanent change to the stock bumper. Sounds like a no-brainer. I'm gonna try it.

It doesnt look half-bad with only the front lip. Since it sounds like a cheap acquisition, go for it. It's completely reversible if you don't like it.

Lol that'll be nice on my part, just do I what I did. I worked my ass off for like two months straight, 67 hr a week smh. By the look of your mod list, I think you could afford some coilovers.

Coilovers are in my certainly on my 'Future-Mod' list don't get me wrong (who doesn't have suspension on that list), but my intake, shortshift, and A-Spec came with the car. I spent $100 on my ETD and little less than 18" Aspec money on my G37's.

Is a drop suggested for my car? Absolutely, would look way better.

Is a drop Needed? No.

I do wish I had the rest of the kit though. If I can sell more Subie parts (the only source of TL part $$$), I will make that next.

*OMG Acurazine was down trying to post this. I... didn't know what to do!
