I think i'm going to try it out once i install my type s bumper and aspec. Going to ruin the plate though everytime i bottom out.

 

Thats exactly what I am waiting for to get the ASPEC and then get that. My number one concern was bottoming out and the plate falling off without me knowing ! Kind of scares me but DAMN it looks so much better then relocating to the tow hook . I M O

 

thats great for show cars that dont see real asphalt and steep angles into parking lots,

but on the street- if your state requires a front plate- that means visable when parked too
In the eyes of LE, you are hiding a plate because you committed an armed robbery and trying to disguise the car
A front or rear plate displayed in the window gets the same result--
why do you have quick hide and change plates?

thats not meant to imply anyone here has done anything- it was an example- story

 

I only like it because you have the option to remove the plate if say you are going to a meet or so and you dont have any screw holes in your bumper. Its a little more convienant but for everyday practicality i dont know.

 

i wouldnt spend 150 bucks to hide my plate....

i just got my bumper fixed so i had the plate off..im waaaayyy tooo lazy to put it back on so i just put it in my window

 

With music on loud and the rattle, I wouldnt even know if the license plate fell off with that mod.

 

Yo that shit is funny, I can get this install it, then drive . wait for a cop to pull me over for not having a front plate. after I get pulled over and he is coming my way I will hit the switch and put it up, then argue with that cop that I do have a front plate and make him go look at it . he will think he was crazy or lost it lol lol

 

^^^ thats the exact same reason why I want it. Imagine now if the button stops working and you think you had the plate up but its really not up. now the cop would get really pissed !
