Front license bracket plugs

I've read many threads regarding the front license plate bracket, but I haven't found the answer to this simple question, so please don't flame me for a "re-post". Thanks.

How do the 2 front bumper plugs for the license plate bracket come out? Do you push them inward, or get behind them somehow (finger?) and pop them out forward? Obviously my objective is to be able to save the plugs for re-use later if needed.

Thanks!

No offense, not trying to be a wise-ass: Yes, I get that. But how do you pop them out...do you push them in, or do you put a finger behind them and pop them out toward you? Yes, I'm a mechanical idiot...given an opportunity to damage a simple piece of plastic, I'll damage it.

Thanks...

You will notice that there are two small gaps surrounding each plug. They are at opposite ends of the plug. Just put your finger (or a small flat head screwdriver) into the gap, and pop the plug out towards you, being careful not to scratch the paint. Be gentle.

At work I use my lil pocket flat head screwdriver to pop them out. They should pop out with ease.
