omeone backed up into me in a parking lot. The paints just chipping away and there's minor bumps n bruises to the bumper. So I finally bought the RHO-PLATE for my 04 TL. Now I noticed that the bumper doesn't have "ACURA" in the middle of it. Are there two kinds of bumpers? I would like to put carbon fiber letter inserts in.

 

To my knowledge from Acurazine the Bumper with the Acura Logo is OEM on all TLs and the Bumper with no Acura Logo on it is Aftermarket. Did u buy you car used? It may have had the Front bumper replaced before

Yep the aftermarket replacement bumper doesn't have the ACURA inset.

 

its def aftermarket, at least it looks clean!

Yeah it was a bear. I live near the Appalachian Mountains and the bears roam all over like it's nothing. I was coming around a blind ninety degree turn at night, and I see this huge black object in my peripheral vision. I turned to look and it slammed into the front passenger side of the car. It took the fender, the bumper and aspec lip with it. The bear got up and walked away >_<

Do any of you know where I could get an OEM front bumper on the cheap in North NJ or online?

 

i would also like to know where to get an oem bumper too. i looked on delray(acuraoemparts.com) and it shows that the "A" is a separate part but it claims it is oem?.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing!
