Front bumper cracked due to uneven pavement.
Hows it going guys? I purchased a 07 pearl white diamond TL last month. And my brother decides to take it out for a spin while i was sleeping. I wake up in the morning and my front bumper was cracked. . He said he hit an uneven pavemnet while driving and it broke the joint from one of the screws and cracked the spoiler lip on the bottem. What you guys think i should do. Go to the body shop or order a kit from online and do it my self? Will it raise my insurance?

can you post pictures from a bit further back, its a bit hard to see exactly what the damage is.
But from your photo's it looks like he hit a pretty high curb or something and the lower bumper took a big blow, like more than 10 MPH!
I'm not sure if an A-Spec lip can cover up the damage, a better few better pictures from further away would be better!

from the picture i don't think you have a body kit installed. I think you can cover that dent by installing a body kit. You might want to pop out the dent and smooth it out as much as possible so the front body kit can fit in there. no need to worry about the paint since lip cover it. This should save you couple hundred and your car will look much sexier.

In my experience ANY claim with your insurance company will raise your rates. Not worth it when you can buy the lip kit here https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=780256 for 750 shipped for front sides and rear.
Also, just do your own body work on the bumper where it attachs to the quarter panel. I had a similar issue on my rsx and I drilled new holes and used 3m tape in the crack to get it nice and tight. you could never tell it had come apart. It looks like the paint is still in good condition so you should be fine

Full of water...
i agree with the others...fix it yourself and just order the body kit out of pocket, but maybe let the brother pay for it, or at least the amount of your deductible if you where to go through the insurance. then its only a few hundred out of your pocket and your car looks better than before
