You've got a bit better MPG!! Not to mention the Interior room and some extra money from not having to put as much gas in it. Beautiful car, but way to small for my taste. I keep leaning towards the LS460 and 460H myself. Big, comfortable and fast!
The f has a V8 and gets horrible gas mileage. The below is what the site rates it at, but if you are on it all the time, I know it gets worse then that.
EPA Fuel Economy Estimates (city/highway) 16/23 mpg
Be happy with the TL and enjoy it. The new car smell will wear off soon and he will be wanting something else to best you with.

I was reading the Lexus thread. With it just being a normal IS 350, it's not that much more of a car over the TL-S. You can mod the TL and hang (6MT).
The real IS-F is the real beast. And it is the one that is $65K. They just took a 08 IS350 and dressed it up to move it off the lot. He totally got ripped for a 2 year old, new car!!
OP, just ignore him, and remind him that it is not really a IS-F, just an IS350 made to look like a IS-F! TL wins!

I've driven the IS350. It's for people who only care how they look when they are driving it. Because the driving experience is pretty lame imo. He has nothing to brag about.

For what it is the IS-F is by no means "horrible" on gas. My Grand Cherokee SRT8 is horrible on gas!!!! The IS-F reasonable on fuel for a 417HP V8 I mean come on. Plus, if you own an IS-F im sure you didnt get it for the fuel economy lol.

As for the IS350, I destroyed my friend's sport and big brake package 350 with my stock except for tires TL. It's much quicker in a straight line but around the corners and braking, the TL owns it. I've never seen a RWD car that understeers that bad.
My friend always picked on my TL when we would go places, especially with girls around. Luckily for me, he ran his mouth when I had the GN and he had a chick in the car. Instead of going for a terrible beating, I would hit the gas, let off and let him catch up while slightly hitting the brakes so they saw the brake lights and then floor it again and shoot away from them. I also had my phone to my ear, pretending to talk on it the whole time. Revenge is nice.

Plus, that's not an "F" package. Maybe the wheels, but the F package had an aero kit, and DEF not that grille.
You have tons of ammo on this guy...

thanks all~. He asked me to drive him to the dealer to go pick up his is350. So i did and his dad tagged along. Well seeing it in person wasn't so bad. Not feeling the grill. My friend wants to get rid of the grill asap. The car does feel and look luxurious but the interiors way too small. Everys so crammed together. Its funny how his dad thinks my car looks and feels better than the lexus is.

New just means it hasn't been titled to somebody. Fact is, it's more or less 2 years old already, and I wouldn't buy any "new" car with 230 miles on it.

Anyone else notice that the 3G TL is the only car you can spot on a dark highway due to the sidemarkers? 2 of them? That being said, and in all seriousness, I hope nobody on here loves the car their car any more, or less because of what someone else drives or what they say. Keeping up with the Jones's...that what keeps this county afloat...credit. If we were all a little more Bobby McFadden we'd be a little less in debt and a little less posting in threads like this. I love the ISF though...but wouldn't be willing to even consider dropping the multiple of 13600 which is what I paid for my TL. That said, and as much as I love my TL...without THAT deal, I wouldn't have even moved on from my RSX. Thank you Einstein. Relativitely seems a hot commodity these days.

yeah i get you. I got my 08 TL in 2008 and with less than 3 digit miles. I suppose my friends lexus can be considered as a used car. Seems like someone test drove it or purchased it and returned it. Anyhow i congratulated him. Wow his F package exhaust sounds louder than g37s exhaust. and may i add, bigger

Damn Rockstar....that was almost poetic! Well done man. I can tell you put some thought into that one.

Damn, I said A LOT not ALL BMW drivers, because I got a 'friend' who got a "BMW", a shitty '99 323i auto. He also tried to rub it in my face and still does whenever he gets a chance specially when his GF is around. I try to ignore him but he never seem to learn so I had to spank his ass on a quarter mile race, I was half car ahead of him by we reached 40 and by 60 I was around 2 cars ahead of him and that was with full gas tank and AC ON. He good a really nice while his GF was sitting with him and I was with mine. Now he rarely ever tries to praise his "BMW" in front of me. I drive a '97 3.2TL base with some cheap ebay intake and much stickier tires then his car, thats it.
For BMW I should have added 3 series drivers MOSTLY. 5 and 7 series not so much and X3-X5 are mostly driven by women...
