Turbo Boost for jumping over obstacles, liquid nitrogen for needed speed in perilous situations, artificial intelligence of sufficient level to reason, an on board Knight 2000 microprocessor with the ability to drive itself and get others out of harms way.

Mile marker number integrated into the NAV. If you put the crosshairs on a exit ramp it just tells you what route the ramp is for, and not the exit number. This would have come in handy while coming back from the beach last week. There was an accident on 95 N and they gave the mile marker number. I hadn't reached 95 yet and was trying to decide if I should bail but I didn't know how far up the road the accident was.

The 3Gs all have headlights that turn OFF with the car. That won't help much with going round a curve, though.

I don't know if anyone has it yet, but someone's developed an electronic muffler which uses a speaker, a microphone inside and DSPs to create noise-cancelling waves to muffle the sound without blocking airflow. Not only would it breathe better, but it would be lighter with fewer parts (i.e. maybe a smaller simpler chamber). But the best part is -- once that's developed, there'd be a way to hack it so you could control the level of noise suppression. So you could have quiet for when it's getting inspected (or when you want to be discrete), or loud for the times when you want to impress motorcyclists.

Only speaking for the Type-S....

- V8 w/ minimum 320 whp 280wtq
- RWD
- coupe
- sporty seats (sparco style in leather)
- All the standard features of the 3Gen + adaptive headlights, ventilated seats, pushbutton start, and big brake kit on the front axel.

Im sure the price of all this, w/o a question will be over 45k. Just a wish list though!!

This will be VERY hard for Acura to do. With all the bells and whistles we want in the '09 TL, plus trying to take the brand up-market, I can't see the price being under 40K. Acura will have to add most of the features we want to see in the next TL, not because we want them, but because they have to remain competitive. Hell, they need to add some feature that we and the competition don't know about or thought of just to stand out from everybody, just like the '04 TL did. Acura would have to cut corners to keep the price down i.e. cheap paint, bullshit leather, cheap plastic interior parts, etc. We already complain about the quality of the paint and rattles and what not, so we need to be careful what we ask for. Probably more than anything, I want the next TL to have a better sound system from factory. They really need to get rid of Bose, who everybody knows is very overrated, and use an aftermarket sound system like Pioneer, Sony, Alpine or Rockford Fosgate. We'll probably switch out the speaker system to one of these companies anyway, so just use one of them from factory instead of that sorry ass Bose system.

I won't ask for much...

I'de like:

SHAWD
A/C for the front seats and
A better sound system

They can leave the really funky stuff (Adaptive Headlights, Pre collision Braking, Heads up display, etc.) for the RL

Just my

I can't imagine NOT offering a manual with their sports minded car. If no manual is offered

I might have to look elsewhere. Maybe an AWD 6 speed 335i Coupe
