Hey, I was just snooping aroung the web and I found a used TL for sale. It's an automatic with 6k miles on it, Black/Black with Navi. Sketchy thing is that it is being sold at a Ford dealership, but it does have the balance warranty still on it. What to do you guys think. It's being sold for $33995. VIN is 37XXX. Looks like it has all 3 under body spoilers and a rear lip.

you should go check it out and test drive it. It doesnt matter if its in FORD dealer. Just think of this, there are manny people who in life cant keep on paying for things, or a family addintion its on the way. So they just simply trade it. I have seen Porche, Jags, Audi's in toyota dealers and mazda dealers. Just simply means that they HAD to give it up for something. That something. Dont know. But go check it out. Now for that price. I think its better to get a NEW one. If you were concidering this one. Just wait till the real 05's come out. And see if any 04's have a great deal on them But i think it will be hard to get an 04 now with these options. Might have to be an 05. But its worth it. I would say get the one u found if it was around 29,000.00 but for 33... nahhh.

Good point on the trading in concept. I wish I could get a picture up, because there seems to be some mod's done to it. Like the wheels. They do not look like Acura Brand wheels. I'll keep in mid the 2004 option with the 05's coming out soon. I'm just figuring price and availability are two factors that are going in different directions. Price's could be coming down, but availability of something I would like is probably going down. (Black/Black 6MTw/ Navi)

Wow hopefully it had some mods.....I will be selling my TL due to insurance reasons. 5AT/NAVI/PARCHMENT with all season mats and tinted windows, 9K miles. $31,000.

One thing to keep in mind when buying used is that aftermarket items added on even if fairly expensive add nothing to the blue book price. Since the 05 will be out within two months, 04 models will be worth even less. I would not go over 30k for a used TL.

IMO, if I only talk "$$$" factor, and area by area, this price seems attrative to some ppl, but not all of us. In NJ, lots of friends get 33200-33600 recently for new Navi TLs.

Definately aftermarket wheels, pedals, shift knob, all-season floor mats. They also changed out the door handles from Black to silver.

I guess I will probably just hold out and hope that I can get what I want in a 04 Model and by that time with the arrival of the 05's, I could get a decent price.
