Former 3g'er looking to come back home

Hey family. Former 1st gen-3rd gen owner here. I left to Honda accord 08 for family reasons (2 kids) and tonight my car got smashed while parked (hit n run) and now I have that feeling of being raped. Ya kno when u don't even want it anymore, like she's been used and abused.

I always planned on coming back (to the 09 tl) but when it finally came out I didn't really like the design. Anyway I'm thinkin of jumping into a 08 tl and coming back home. Can u guys find it in your heart to allow me back in?

So while I'm still at work (5am) I'm searching already for a tl and stumbled on this and would like to kno ur opinions please.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

it's a blue 08 tl type s fully loaded for 27k (and change) only thing is, I'll be stuck on the upside down payment thing because I owe like 31k on my current (credit not up to par to lease) but at this point I really don't care. *insert sad face with puppy dog eyes here* lol

That seems like a good deal. I don't know what the TL-S are going for right now but considering what I paid for mine, 25,500 for a 06 w/nav w/ 18k miles 1.5 yrs ago, I wouldn't mind trading mine for that. The only thing I don't like about that TL is the gray interior instead of the black two tone interior.

The 07/08 KBP TL-S's are amazing cars (I have an 07 KBP S). You didnt mention mileage but if its average or below average thats a great price!! In my area here near Chicago 08 S's are being listed at dealerships in the $30's!!!!! If the car checks out clean with all original panels and paint I say go for it.
Sorry to hear about the new 08 Honda. Sucks when I brand new car gets ruined like that. In the end though it will work out and you will be happy. Just make sure you dont get above yourself as far as what you can afford.

if you still owe case for the car, I would say get it fixed and trade it in. Depending on the miles and condition, you can get a good trade in value, and whatever you owe is rolled over as equity on your TL-S. While I recommend you sort out your personal finances yourself, the above isn't a bad idea if you can get a decent interest rate, and a good trade in for your current car.

Unless you're me... Car loan and student loans

Miles are a little high for an 08'. Price is ok for the miles. In my area you can't even find an 08 TL-S for under $30k, even with higher miles.

I'm tripping on how someone could look at KBP and think.."that looks like a metro blue".. is that a blue preferred by metrosexuals? -sophisticated yet fruity..

lol i was wondering how they came up with that too.
If you look at the listing its a rover dealership so I was like hmmmmm maybe "metro blue" is one of their colors

or maybe they use "metro" in some of their color codes so since this guy was clueless he just decided to make up his own color code for the KBP????? who knowssss
either way he is swindling
