Thought about this the other day and wanted to see what other people thought.

Scenario: Flat black staggered 18's, black mesh C-Mod grill, 20% tinted windows with a sexy Grabber Blue Paint job and black interior.

umm... no. seen a lot of new gaystangs in that color and I think it's pretty nasty actually. just my two cents but something a bit darker with more pearl/flake/etc would be much better. Like the Lexus IS-F blue or something similar. Or just do KBP maybe.

Maybe Kona Blue, but leave the "look at me" muscle car colors to muscle cars.

 

This. Grabber blue on a 400+ muscle car is passable. On a "girlie" Honda/Acura = :ghey:

 

I'd have to go with a NO for that color as well. Just doesn't seem to go well with a TL IMO.

 

Don't get me wrong, I blue cars, but just not that shade on a TL. Go KBP and call it a day.

i don't know how it would look on a TL but for all you naysayers, don't knock it until you've seen a gt500 with it in person

 

I saw one over the weekend at the Ford dealership. At the end of the day, car color is personal preference. One person might think this is a beautiful color, while another(seemingly everyone here) might think it looks awful. That is why they have all these different colors, and I guess you can call Ford smart for making tons of different colors for Mustangs because it is bound to appeal to more consumers.

However, this thread is asking the opinion of what we think. And to answer the question, I think it would look odd on a TL, especially since Acura made a darker blue that the majority find amazing.

It looks great on the GT500 but I think it would look out of place on a TL.

 

Since that blue is already on a Ford you should avoid it as it may bring the dependability and resale value of your TL WAY DOWN!!

i love the grabber blue color....but on a MUSTANG....i dont know how the TL would pull that off....

if you are looking for custom colors i would go towards:
red/white with blue pearls/black with red pearls/etc
